When i watch t.v. or a movie and the actor is tense it makes me feel very uncomfortable, since i study the method i know why its disturbing but the average person won't understand whats wrong but they will feel cheated out a the experience. Being tense will cause your impulses and natural emotion to be blocked in those areas of tension. Once the actor relaxes the audience will feel it and be truely moved by the experience they are going threw before their eyes. REACTING TRULY under imaginary circumstances!
